The start of the 2012 latex coated 2012 summer Olympics is only 1 week away.  While we are by no means Olympic specialists, we turn to others who might be to help determine betting value.  Former USA Today columnist Beau Dure is in the process of projecting medals for all of the 2012 Olympic events.  We attempted to find betting value by leveraging these predictions along with current Olympic lines.

The following lists contains only odds only for those that Dure projected as winners.  Additionally, in order to make the list athletes/countries were required NOT to be the favorite at the books and have at least a 2-to-1 payout.  Here are the best odds from the available Olympic lines, according to Dure:
