The 15-1 Green Bay Packers will host their first playoff game today as the Eli Manning and the New York Giants come to town. The Giants are coming off a 24-2 Wild Card win over the Atlanta Falcon where their defense shut out the Falcons offense.

The Packers opened as 8.5 point favorites against New York but money immediately came in on the Giants. Within a day, the line was down to Green Bay (-7.5). The total opened at 52 and that has been bet up to 54. This will be just the second game in the history of Lambeau Field with a total higher than 52 points.

The Giants finished the regular season 9-7 ATS (including 5-3 ATS on the road) and 8 of their 16 games went over the total. Meanwhile, Aaron Rodgers and the Packers have been a bookie-beating machine and went 11-5 ATS this season. And 11 of their 16 games went over the total. Over his career, Aaron Rodgers is 18-11-1 (62%) ATS at Lambeau Field.

Of course, this game is a rematch of an earlier season match-up. In Week 13, the Packers traveled to the Meadowlands as a 7 point favorite. The Packers won 38-35 but failed to cover and the game easily sailed over the closing total of 53.5.

60% of bets are on the New York Giants and, as usual, bettors love the over with 79% of bets expecting the game to be a high-scoring affair. The Wagerminds community is more evenly distributed as just 51% of users have the Giants (+7.5) and 59% are on the over.

Other items to note:
