The Miami Heat pulled away last night at home in game 3, covering the spread (-4) by two points in the 91-85 win.  Tuesday’s game 4 have the Heat favored by a half point less at -3.5.  This season both teams have been dominant at home, with the Heat going 38-7 and the Thunder at 36-8.  As well as winning outright, the Heat claimed the second best ATS record at home with a 25-18-1 record, only behind San Antonio at 21-17-2.

Now before you go betting on the Heat, it should be noted that the Thunder were the best NBA team after a loss, going 15- 7 before last night’s loss.  Also, history shows that teams up 2-1 playing at home as the favorite have only won 50.97% of the time.  Finally, this year Miami is just 24-28 ATS on just one day of rest while the younger Thunder are 25-24-1 under the same circumstances.
