Pitcher-Data

Pitchers’ Win/Loss data is quite easy to come by, but full statistics on games started, over/under and true money information isn’t so easy.  To combat this, we’ve re-imaged our MLB section to help you find better data, and make picks easier.

For starters, we’ve built a page dedicated to pitcher betting data.  Each of the columns are sortable and feature all pitchers who have officially recorded a start this MLB season:

The columns include:

  • Straight Up [SU] Pitcher Data
This covers all games that a pitcher started regardless of innings pitched/total result/etc.  If they started, it counts.
  • True Money
One of the best metrics for a pitcher’s performance is the true money number.  This number shows how much a bettor would have if they had invested $100 on each game they started.
  •  Against The Spread [ATS]
This number takes the run line into account and tallies up each game started by the pitcher.
  •  O/U (Home, Away)
These columns break down the aggregate totals bets as well as totals bets by location. The record is as follows:  Overs-Unders-Pushes.  So a pitcher that is 3-7-1 would have 3 games going over, 7 under and one push.
Want more information on a specific pitcher?  Well just click on their name.  When doing so, you can see all of the previous games started, detailed home/road stats, opponent, opposing pitcher, scores and results:
We didn’t stop there either.  We’ve always had the MLB team betting data page, but now we’ve included pitcher data to see just who is delivering those numbers:

In addition to the pitchers’ betting data, we’ve tied pitchers into the MLB betting experience for easier picks.  Now on the MLB odds page users can see the starting pitchers for both teams:

For more information see the starting pitchers betting page or simply select a team from the MLB team betting page to view the new enhancements.

We are always trying to bring a better experience here at WagerMinds.  If you have any feedback or suggestions, please feel free to leave them in the comments.
