Last week our 8-2 streak was snapped thanks to a disappointing 2-3 performance in the LVH SuperContest. Each week we feed data into our machine that uses a proprietary model that aims to select who will cover the spread each week.  So far on the season we are 25-25 with our SuperContest picks. Each week we play the picks that the computer provides — whether we like ‘em or not. So far this year our model largely skews towards favorites – a trait again on display this week.
Last week our most confident play, the Ravens, crushed Oakland by 35 and the Broncos handled Carolina to get us two wins. However, much like Ben Roethlisberger the Steelers went down against the spread, as did the  Falcons and the Patriots.

San Diego Chargers At Denver Broncos
You have to give credit where credit is due. Our machine has been dead-on with the resurgence of Peyton Manning. It likes the Broncos so much so that it’s taking 7 and the hook at home against Phil Rivers and his  underachieving Chargers team.

New Orleans Saints At Oakland Raiders
The Raiders despicable against the Baltimore Ravens last week in their 55-20 loss. They’re facing just as explosive of an offense this week when the Saints come marching into tow. Our machine learned its lesson last week (going against the Saints) and selected New Orleans to win and cover the 4 and a half point spread.

Cincinnati Bengals At Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs showed a little bit of  fight last week in their MNF loss against the Steelers. However they didn’t show enough to say our model. The Bengals dominated the World Champs last week and our model likes it to continue into week 11.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers At Carolina Panthers
The Bucs have been one of the most undervalued teams this entire season. The Bucs are 7-2 ATS and have displayed a potent offense with the Muscle Hamster and a trimmed down Josh Freeman. The Panthers defense has been sneakily serviceable, but our model thinks the Bucs (4-0 ATS on the road) will take this by more than a point and a half.

Indianapolis Colts At New England Patriots
The Patriots have caused us great angst this year as our model tends to have a crush on “The Ugged One” and “The Hoodie.” Yet the Pats have gone 1-3-0 ATS at home. We are begrudgingly following our machine and laying nine and a half against the red hot Colts. who’ve won four straight.
